Parent Hospital

Founded in 1968 by the Sacred Heart Congregation, SH Medical Centre began as a small ten-bed Cancer and Maternity Centre in Kottayam and has grown into a 300-bedded super-specialty hospital with 32 specialties across four centres. Guided by the values of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the hospital upholds its motto, “Quality Care with Compassion,” and strives toward its vision of Excellence in Healthcare, manifesting the utmost compassionate service in the footsteps of Lord Jesus.
